Babau demons were born from the blood stricken out of Graz’zt during a battle with Glasya in hell. A perfect mix of demon and devil, both extremely methodical and absolutely bloodthirsty Serving as recruiters for the blood war in order to maintain their own freedom or as assassins if forced #Dnd

Hezrou are the shock troops of the Abyss, although simple minded they are skilled enough to effectively lead bands of lesser demons in combat They are also known to have an overwhelmingly awful stench about them to the point that it can poison creatures within 10ft of them #Dnd

Touched up my sketch and colored it in. I’m very pleased with how it came out! I keep wanting to add a background but I’m going to call this finished before I ruin it #OnePiece #Yamato
A full color drawing of Yamato in his hybrid Zoan form swinging a kanabo that’s crackling with purple lightning. His hair is wild and flying backwards and his face is being framed by his hagaromo scarf

The design is based on his canon design with my own spin to it because I wanted to see what the hybrid form could be if it was more wolf-like

For the first time in a long while I had time and energy to sit down and draw with pencil and paper so I threw together my own rendition of Yamato’s hybrid Zoan form. I love him, he’s my favorite character from One Piece #OnePiece #Yamato
A pencil and paper sketch of Hybrid Yamato from One Piece that I drew half from memory and half making up my own look for him. It’s more werewolf-esque than his canon design and his hagoromo scarf is more smoothed out (because I forgot that it was flame like)

Fanart for the game @potionomics.bsky.social I couldn’t stop thinking about what creature the Elder Being Tusk came from so I made my own rendition I highly recommend the game, it’s super charming and pretty challenging +a height comparison because I guess that’s my bit on here lmao #potionomics
An image of a large alien pachyderm-like creature floating off the ground with a multicolored polygon as a background. The being has a thick stumpy tail that rests in an upward position, a round transparent belly showing off its innards, fading vestigial legs, and a bulbous see through head that exposes its brain. The creature has several eyes across its body including three on its head, one on each thigh, and four on eye stalks. The face is like that of an elephant except that the trunk loops around and melds back into the skull and there is an eye at the base of the trunk. Positioned next to it is a silhouette of a wizard who stands at 5’9”My imagining of an Elder Being from the game Potionomics. I drew a beholder, made using the tables in Volo’s Guide, it ended up looking like an ice cream with gummy worms in it + I wanted to remind myself that I can in fact draw more than just size comparisons I just like seeing monsters next to a normal person and it’s pretty easy to draw those #Dnd
A pink and brown bodied beholder floating through its lair while being trailed by its pet gazer. This part of the lair is a carved bluish grey checkered stone corridor covered in pink slime with an eye ball forming out of the wall and watching as its master goes by. The beholder has a scar over its main eye, a slavering maw full of sharp teeth, and a lower body of pink with a brown pebbled shell and worm like eyestalks poking out. The Antimagic cone of the beholder slightly mutes the color of whatever it passes over. The last of my giants for now, the reviled Trolls. Where Ogres and Giant-kin are tolerated by Annam’s children, Trolls the spawn of Vaprak, are more often than not actively hated by the rest of Giant kind. Pictured below are standard Trolls and their icy cousins #Dnd

Another of the Fey Giants are the Fomorians. Once great and powerful spellcasters, their arrogance and entitlement lead them to their downfall + a litany of Fey curses were inflicted upon them to create their now warped state. They vary greatly in appearance with some being far worse off #Dnd
Tareen, 5’8” human, standing next to a 13’00” Fomorian in front of measurement lines. The pictured Fomorian is somewhat misshapen with asymmetrical and disproportioned arms and legs while sporting a few warts and bumps here and there. It is not as bad as it could be. At least his facial features are all pointing the same general directionTareen, 5’8” human, standing next to a 13’00” Fomorian. Have a cyclops, my main inspiration was the 4e design because I wanted it to look a bit more monstrous and fantastical rather than just a dude with one eye They’ve got a bit of a contested origin but I prefer them as a kind of Feywild echo of the short sighted (heheh) Hill Giants or Ogres #Dnd

The last of the True Giants to remain on the Material, Storm Giants: wise and powerful while even showing compassion for the littler races… it’s a shame they’re so aloof. Even in the highest of the Ordning Annam wasn’t able to combine all the good traits without adding in self defeating ones #Dnd

Cloud giants are a proud and cunning bunch, somewhat elven in appearance, they prefer not to get their hands dirty if they can help it. With an obsession for material wealth and a knack for magic cloud giants are only one rung below the top of the ladder for the material plane giants #Dnd

Here’s the Fire Giant, capable and strong with excellent craftsmanship to boot the only thing they lack is the will and cunning to lead, they are much better at being soldiers than they are generals. Also they are slightly more squat and Dwarven in shape #Dnd

Now we’re really getting into the swing of nailing down the look for giants. Frost Giants, almost entirely human looking have a bit of a smaller skull, and as a result smaller brain, but otherwise well above Hill Giants and Stone Giants in the ladder towards that refined humanoid form #Dnd

Here’s my design and height comparison for stone giants, definitely more similar to the “standard” humanoid body plan if a bit exaggerated and with plenty of artistic liberty taken, a step up from Hill Giants but still having imperfection and subjectivity clouding the form #Dnd
In front of measurement lines stands Tareen, 5’8”, next to a 19’6” stone giant with exaggerated features and strange proportions. Definitely Annam’s more artistic effort at crafting a perfect form for his giants to takeTareen, 5’8”, standing next to a 19’6” stone giant with exaggerated features and strange proportions. Next up is the Hill Giant, I decided to give them more of a simple but still humanoid skull shape to show that they’re a step up from Ettin in the heirarchy but not by much #Dnd

Ettin size comparison! I based my version more off the 3rd edition designs, the theory that Demogorgon was involved in their creation, and additionally a general ape to man through-line for all my Giant designs #Dnd

Size comparison of a human to Ogres and also their cousin the Oni It’s so simple but I loved changing the color of the Oni (I’ve got a whole rainbow of them) and adding extra details like his club, scars, the loincloth, and gourd #Dnd

Hippogriff size comparison, I like the balance that I struck between bird and horse taking heavy influence from 3rd edition #Dnd

The sibling of the cockatrice, the basilisk. I tried to keep and invert certain elements like the weird feather/scales from cockatrice so they had some kind of connection. I love these big dumb rock munchers #Dnd

Another size comparison this time of a Cockatrice, roughly the size of a turkey. I really like how I did the scales/feathers on this one #Dnd
Tareen standing next to a cockatrice from 5e. It is a raptor like creature with leathery wings, a whip-like tail, and a face like that of a chicken, there is also a general lack of feathers except for a few large ones that resemble scales scattered around the body. On its feet it has large spurs pointing out the back and on the front side there are three talons per foot with the inner most talon being larger and more pronounced than the others
