Went skiing for the first time today at Mount Rose! Had a blast with Devon during our first lesson, and then we went skiing on our own for about 3 more hours. Super fun and we only live 25 minutes away whoop whoop

MUSIC PRODUCTION TIP: Got a repetitive riff that you'd like to sound sharper, more precise? Try subtly adding in a trance gate! I use Tremolator for this, low Depth + slight rush to the Feel to preserve acoustic instruments' attacks. Sounds more synthetic, but sometimes that's the goal for motors!

Screenshot of my Tremolator patch that I use for this purpose. Note the depthmod/ratemod/accent are set to 0, rate is tempo-synch'd ("MIDI"), rhythm set to 16ths, and shape is a simple custom curve.

I have a tiny bit of Width added just to sound a bit more natural, but it's not necessary at all.

I've been working on a track that features audio from the original Colin McRae Rally game. The idea is to have a simple beat that moves the co-drivers narration forward It's been a lot of fun and since I was an official for the World Rally way back when, its been VERY nostalgic
