🦋 For 19th of #Leptember, a beautiful Euphaedra janetta, photographed by Adrian Hoskins in Ghana. 📋 Euphaedra is a large and colourful genus of African butterflies in the family Nymphalidae, particularly associated with the forests and woodland habitats of tropical Africa.

Indigo Dropwing female (Trithemis festiva). She is taking up the 'obelisk' position to minimise the amount of direct overhead sun hitting her and thus prevent overheating. As for me, I just sat in the water to cool down!
