Apparently my old "Waver" roots are popping out today. FTR, I've done the whole New Wave, Punk, Skater and Metal Head thing in my youth. But today, this is my old music self for concentrating on work.
Screenshot of Spotify desktop showing a public playlist titled “80s New Wave Mix” with a green gradient header. The playlist contains 50 songs (about 3 hours 29 minutes). The track list includes “Hungry Like the Wolf” by Duran Duran, “We Built This City” by Starship, “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds, “Call Me” by Blondie, “Blue Monday” by New Order, “Take On Me” by a-ha, and others. Playback controls appear at the bottom. On the right sidebar, the currently highlighted song is “It’s a Sin (2018 Remaster)” by Pet Shop Boys, with related videos and an artist info panel below.

Raise your hand if you ever re-watched The Transformers: The Movie just to listen to Orson Wells voicing Unicron, Leonard Nemoy as Galvatron, Robert Stack as Ultra Magnus, Judd Nelson as Hot Rod / Rodimus Prime, Casey Kasem as Cliffjumper while rocking out to Stan Bush. Mic drop.
Illustrated poster for The Transformers: The Movie (1986). Optimus Prime stands at the center in a heroic stance, raising his arm as multiple Autobots and Decepticons surround him in mid-battle. Bright red laser beams fire upward into a massive, circular alien spacecraft hovering overhead. Characters are shown flying and charging forward against a star-filled space backdrop, with vivid neon blues, reds, and yellows emphasizing action and scale. The title “The Transformers: The Movie” appears prominently at the bottom in bold, metallic lettering with the Autobot logo.

And this is why I am not worried about AI taking my job anytime soon. Wow...😂
This is a digital image depicting a character called "Captain Linux," an amalgamation of Captain America and the Linux mascot, Tux the penguin.

Key Elements:

Character: The character wears a costume similar to Captain America's, but with a high-tech, circuit-board aesthetic. The suit is primarily blue and red, with glowing cyan lines tracing circuitry across the armor.

Shield: The character holds a vibranium-style circular shield. Instead of the typical white star on a blue background, the center of the shield features a stylized Tux the penguin (the Linux mascot) centered within the familiar red, white, and blue concentric rings.

Helmet/Head: The character's head is replaced entirely by a floating, small Tux the penguin silhouette, positioned above the neck of the suit.

Background: The scene is set in a modern, futuristic city at night, resembling a major metropolis (possibly New York City or a similar fictional city). Neon lights, tall skyscrapers, and faint green/cyan beams of light streak down from above, adding to the sci-fi atmosphere.

The overall impression is a blend of superhero iconography and open-source computing culture, specifically celebrating Linux.

Finally, a VGA adapter for 2025!
Promotional image for a fictional "New Wireless VGA Port" featuring a black VGA dongle and a list of humorous, exaggerated features titled "WTF-Level Features." Features include "QuantumLink Sync" (syncs with monitor before thinking), "Cloud Dust Repellent" (repels air particles with static vortex fields), "ASMR Mode" (whispers static noise), "Self-Charging with WiFi" (steals power from routers), "Fake 8K Upscaler" (pretends 480p is 8K), "Overclockable VGA Pins" (200% boost with nano-vibrations), "Tactical RGB Screws" (screws light up), "Bluetooth... just because" (adds Bluetooth for no reason), and "AI Cable Denier" (LLM denies cables exist). The overall tone is satirical and tech parody-themed.

It's funny because it's true.
Top panel: Fred from Scooby-Doo is about to unmask someone tied up in a blue uniform with a hood and the red cobra insignia — clearly representing Cobra Commander from G.I. Joe. The text at the top reads:
"IT'S TIME TO FIND OUT! WHO COBRA COMMANDER REALLY IS?"

Bottom panel: Fred has removed the hood. Underneath is the head of Starscream, a villainous Decepticon from Transformers, smirking. The implication is that Cobra Commander is secretly Starscream.

I just built a cli task manager called "TOsk." If you are a DS9 fan, you understand why this is pretty on point. I'll share more later. Still very much a WIP. But for Star Trek geeks like me, this amused me. Yeah, it will import any plain text file. Which is how I usually takes notes.
