A remake of what's often considered the best videogame of all time in November, a follow up to the impeccable Metroid Dread in January and Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave in like a week. Nintendo certainly doesn't make me regret buying a Switch 2 I can tell you that much.

I like to think I'm a bit more resistant to the effects of nostalgia goggles than most. But this ocarina of time remake trailer hit me with a nostalgia-leg drop from the nostalgia-top rope, gave me a nostalgia-concussion in the process and I am now squarely under its spell.

That's Zero Company done. A fun time with some frustrating technical hangups in-between. I don't think it quite compares to XCOM 1&2 and in most regards it gets downright mogged by the more recent Midnight Suns. Still: solid game, hope the devs recover and can rehire folks.

As someone working in print I'm quite used to explaining to customers that they need to add crop marks and bleed to their layouts if they want borderless prints (image for reference). Foolishly I wasn't quite prepared for them to say they can't since they used FUCKING CHATGPT.

It did not disappoint. They managed to maintain the quality of the first two shorts and kept on introducing cool new characters and concepts. It maybe could have done without a Super weapon or Kylo Ren (if he had sauce) again but oh well. Still, very good stuff.

Finished this. Solid game; probably the best boss battles in the series. Unfortunately its predecessor had a scene so bafflingly bad it still overshadows my enjoyment of quite literally anything Borderlands related. (Iykyk)

Halfway through this and I enjoy spending time with Rey and Leia a lot. The original characters are good too, but: I run into the issue that I don't care for that universe. I don't care for the first order, I don't care about the war, I don't care for Kylo Ren haunting the narrative.
