Aristide regularly wears Emoni’s shirts bc somehow shorter cat man has much broader shoulders than tol skinny elezen. Emoni’s sweaters do Aris way more favors since Emoni runs hot anyhow LOL. Kaine often finds his shirts missing thanks to Arlyra sleeping in them all the time.

A little bit of both 70/30 maybe. A bit disappointed that the first career dream wasn’t obtained, but more impressed that we’re even alive and gained the independence we dreamed of and the found family we wanted, have been happily married longer than our parents were, and a badass job, a solid win.

I feel this. I tabled in the 00s-10’s and eventually just couldn’t keep up with the merch type demands. I mostly did prints and at-table commissions and that seemed to fall out of favor at so many cons. Falling into a busy fulltime career also didn’t help my availability so I left. I miss it tho.

100 boxes colds meds abs 100ct box teabags, 200 bags of sugar, and like 1000 cans of various veggies per my quick store run today XD Noone will have a cold on Kaine’s watch, and more than enough southern sweet tea and veggies to go around for the Scions.

I grew up a military kid but they always had events happening like this at the base rec centers every weekend. It got my sister and I out of the house for a few hours LOL I worked while in college so I missed the dorm and party hard experience XD

Glad to know you’re okay and that things weren’t any worse than they currently are. Hopefully power can get restored soon at the very least especially with this bs heat.

I feel this on the waking up at odd hours end. I should have made more use of my own “why am I up at 4:30am when I don’t work till 10am?!” time this morning LOL I haven’t written a thing past DnD notes in weeeeeks, but vegged cuz I’m not for mornings. Hell yeah for working on fics tho ^.^

Matteh @mattehdraws.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Kaine is usually hit with the “I didn’t think you’d be this tall” bit (he’s 7’6”) as they stare up at him, or an “I wasn’t expecting you to be so nice…” (cuz he’s actually a 7.5’ tall teddy bear with horns Arlyra won at a carnival counter lol) He’s a little sad when people are scared of him at first

010

Matteh @mattehdraws.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Tried out It Takes Two last night and I think this would be fun and funny either way for Kaine and Arlyra to be either in or playing together. Otherwise both my boys would be thrown into Dead By Daylight and, well, godsspeed Kaine and Aristide LOL XD

It can feel a bit daunting reaching out and meeting a therapist, even willingly so. I hope that this goes well for you and you find one that is amazing. I’ve gotten to a point with mine that I look forward to my weekly sessions, and sometimes we just review the week and just chat ^.^ 💖

Fushigi Yuugi was one my first animes ever and honestly I still keep up with it with the Genbu Kaiden and Byakko Senki manga that followed it (Watase fan forever), but Escaflowne was also a big one for me too I loved it so much.

010

Matteh @mattehdraws.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Matteh @mattehdraws.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

I invested in the manga finally and am so glad I did it’s so good. And it’s been so cute to see my 8yo niece who’s been obsessed with it, and it’s her first anime. She lost her mind cuz how dare, and now she has to wait and she can’t stand it XD
