@adriansdigitalbasement.com Well I decided to get my feet wet in the Amiga ocean.. I just purchased an Amiga 500 and a Commodore 1080 CRT to go with it... Hopefully it'll work! Are there any active clubs here in the Portland area?

@thetubeguy.bsky.social got one of the bell 2122A's restored. What a joke whoever did previous repairs... The schematic also messed up getting the tone controls labeled backwards. Had study the circuit a bit.

Temporary testing area. I initially wired an electrolytic cap to the negative can lug and was awarded with an awful 120hz filter buzz.. I noticed the can was isolated from the chassis and it had no ground connection at all. A quick jumper lead connecting ground fixed it!

Hanging filament 5y3g I was using in my hallicrafters receiver. Looks better in this bell amp so I ordered another off eBay for the matching amp

My bus that I've owned since 2001. Father/son high school project. I actually knew this bus when I was 10(1992). We'd vacation at fort Meyer's Beach every February and this bus sat in some guys driveway. We'd always point out out driving by. We finally moved there and my dad's like why don't we go say hi to the owner and see if he wants to sell it! We were the first to actually knock and say hi. Everyone else left notes on the windshield but Grant said if you can't take the effort to say hi your not going to buy it.

I must have messed up setting the speed led jumpers there.

My 486dx2 80 build. Vlb of course. 24 megs o ram and 256k cache! I did just pick up some nice speakers.. Cambridge or something I think.

Windows XP machine from 2007. Got it from my buddies work stored up in the attic for years. Got 6 or so CRT monitors too

Severe ion burn. Dumont chose to use a straight gun CRT(12JP4) on a non aluminized screen. Tube is tired and had a short I had to remove with my B&K CRT tester.

Continuous tuning from channel 1 to 13 also containing the FM band between channel 6 and 7. 6AL7 tuning eye.

@thetubeguy.bsky.social I put in two Psvane 5u4gs into my Dumont. They look stunning. I'll see if I can get a picture of them while it's running. I had a shorted CRT and had to use my tester to blow the short out. I finally can dim the picture!
