Here's a winning issue for whichever party wants it: data privacy. I buy new records software, I get calls from ripoff billing companies every 15 mins for 2 weeks. I get a home loan, same. Nobody I know answers their phone anymore because 9 of 10 calls are scam. It wasnt like this 20 years ago.

Ok, I get it but... the measles crisis we are seeing now has been building for two decades. Case surges started under this admin, and they havent exactly supported rapid response, but the people getting infected chose not to vaccinate years or even decades ago.

Before my clinic can bill insurances, I need an account with Availity. To get this, I need to upload 7 documents, with an SS4 letter. Thats the IRS one that says CP575 at the top. 40 min hold time for help. It must be hard for young people to understand how much better the world was 30 years ago.

There was a federal law in the early LBJ years that every jazz LP had to have at least one percussion player beyond the traps. It is wild how this trend was so pervasive, yet gone so quickly. Not his best, but fine nonetheless.

I just read an article where a Famous Sports Guy is an investor in a miracle anti-aging chamber thingy. The FDA used to work hard to prevent to use of unregulated devices in medical clinics, but this device openly lists about a hundred clinics using it.

I think it is useful to remember that the Iraq / subprime collapse combo led to a big shift in 06 and 08, and by 2010, the tea party gained back a bunch. By 2018, this shift was all washed out. A third of voters still want this, and another quarter can be convinced.

My friend just got transferred from ICE detention in Tacoma to the gulag private prison in Louisiana the weekend before his deportation hearing. He will likely spend a few months or more there. With the bullshit water cannon on high, it is easy to lose track of the true outrages of our time.

If you decide to stop universal HBV infant vaccines, you have to be ok with this leading to more liver disease deaths 50 years later.
