Decided I needed warm holiday before treatments get funky and they've given me dates right in the middle of half term. Arse.

Been looking to find if there's been any new books in the Adamsberg series by Fred Vargas, which I love, and it turns out there have been two but not translated into English! Catalan and Russian are available though. Pain in the arse. #BookSky

In other news, trying to work out in what set of circumstances my dad wouldn't drop everything to answer the phone. Just rang for non important reasons and he's running out of a cafe so he could speak to me. This is the man who answers ringing phones in department stores if no-ones there.

Been to find out about a prescription at Tesco I ordered 10 days ago and ran out of 5 days ago and could really fucking do with. 'Yeah, we can't get that at the moment'. 'Was anyone going to let me know'? 'I don't know, I wasn't dealing with it. You'll have to go somewhere else'. Fucking great.

I can't remember any odd school assemblies to add to the discourse annoyingly. Unless you count my late period 'please expel me' days where I'd see what it was like to do poppers during it. Not too much fun unsurprisingly.

Somewhere down the Albert Dock, early 2000s, went for a piss and went up against the urinal. Which I realised was a floor to ceiling sink when a lady came out of one of the unisex cubicles and screamed at me. I was not ready for those places then.
