Tried that! But then it only reads one value and just applies it :( But I think I kind of figured it out? Here's comparisons of my experiments haha. Now Im wondering if it can work with colors underneath

sorry I will be talking to myself a bit. figured out that if I add a white background to the lineart, merge and then treat it as a multiply or other such blending mode, a gradient map kinda applies like that 🤔but now im wondering if you can make it work with colors underneath too

closest to this effect i can think of is drawing with a brush thats on a linear burn blending mode but thats not exactly that either... like im SO sure I saw a way to have multiple colors applied.

CSP folks, does anyone know how to apply a gradient map to your lineart so it reacts to opacity? Idk how else to describe it. I've seen folk have their lineart change color depending on opacity/value and I remember seeing a tutorial for it once, but for the life of it I can't find it again
