Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 29/08/2026I also asked #Copilot for a suggested demo running order and talking points and got those too! I saved about half a day! 010
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 29/08/2026Perhaps I’m late to the party, but I had to do a demo of #MSDyn365BC to a prospect this week. Remembering something I’d seen @mynavblog.bsky.social do, I fed the parameters of the demo, and the prospect’s web address to #Copilot and asked for demo data in Config. pack format and it did it! Amazing! 120

Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 20/08/2026How did you get familiar with it, Miljan? Did you just have buy more credits? 100
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 19/08/2026Any of my #MSDyn365BC folks demo’d the Purchase Agent? I’ve messed around but ran out of credits before I’d got very far 101
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 16/08/2026I miss #MSDyn365BC Twitter so it was excellent to finally meet my friend from those days, @thedoubleh.dev and his lovely wife face-to-face for lunch in Edinburgh. 080
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 14/08/2026I hadn’t realised that Data Braider is now free for #MSDyn365BC If you’ve ever bemoaned the very basic APIs that are available out of the box in BC, it’s the extension for you Thanks @bc.jeremy.vyska.info and @stefanmaron.com 131
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 01/08/2026Thinking with eternal gratitude about @luisefreese.bsky.social today as, having started a new job, I set up Outlook for inbox zero. Possibly the only literally life-changing thing I’ve done with technology www.m365princess.com/blogs/overco...m365princess.comHow can we overcome the pain with email?Inbox Zero? I reached this goal, inbox zero. I wrote a tutorial how everyone can achieve that, too. Why is this important? For several reasons: 100
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 01/08/2026Plummeting licence fee payers. They’re on a very tight budget. It’s a death spiral. People decided that hearing both sides of an issue and therefore hearing the side they didn’t like was bias and voted with their feet. 000
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 31/07/2026Something like that. “Something something engage” I expect 010
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 31/07/2026Oh God! ANOTHER site?? It’s like the definition of insanity: doing the same thing and expecting a different result! 120
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 30/07/2026Same thing happened with the #MSDyn355BC community. It was great on Twitter and we really tried here but a lot of MVPs went to LinkedIn and stayed there. Issue being that your clients are likely to be on LinkedIn so you can’t really ask for help there. Which begs the question…what’s it for? 120
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 29/07/2026I bought one that clamps to my desk, so now I have tons of room to pile up all sorts of crap! 100
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 28/07/2026Any Business Central manufacturing experts out there? I need to brush up. Who’s got good content? #MSDyn365BC 001
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 28/07/2026I took your recommendation and bought a pair! 🙂 Very happy with them 111

Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 10/07/2026I like the idea of the portable screen. Might do that. What make is it? 100
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 10/07/2026That’s the way I’m leaning too. I’ve a colleague with one of those big curved screens and his screen shares are a nightmare. Plus: it’s much cheaper! 110
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 09/07/2026I’m returning laptops and screens to my old employer tomorrow. My new employer has sent me a single small screen. I’m currently working with two Dell 24” monitors and my laptop (16”). Any recommendations for replacements. What are the big curved screens like? Any good? 300
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 09/07/2026There are tools in the toolbox. I’m not saying anything about how sharp or blunt they are, merely that he’s one of them. 010
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 07/05/2026I keep thinking about orphaned records. It’s a whole can of worms! 000
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 07/05/2026Stand down! (As if anyone was stood up!) It’s browser settings. Even copilot says, “Yes this IS frustrating!” 040

Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 07/05/2026I had a co-worker get very confused by an airline website. It appeared to not be taking her booking so she ended up booking four times. Needless to say by the fourth time the seat had doubled in price. (easyJet, UK) 000
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 07/05/2026Oh jings! And there I am out in the field, telling customers “this never happens in live!” 110
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 06/05/2026I have a customer wanting to use the Power BI template reports for #MSDyn365BC Can anyone tell me how I can get the dates to display as UK format dates? It seems to be a very elusive setting if it exists at all! 110
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 03/04/2026Thanks! MS. Not known for clarity (esp. around pricing/licensing) 020
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 03/04/2026I read that twice and didn’t see anything about how one migrates a Gen1 dataflow to Gen2. Am I missing something? 100
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 01/04/2026I had to uninstall MS Copilot in order to allow Excel to recognise my mouse clicks. Good job lads. Good job. 040
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 28/03/2026Mate’s in the middle of a go-live and has found a weird bug They have some custom roles set up. A user has found that in one role they can create a new Project Planning Line but in another, they can’t. Error says Project Task No. Is required. Permissions are by user so what’s going on? #MSDyn365BC 100
Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 09/03/2026Yeah. You sit a short test for renewal (which is free). Now i have to pay £106 and sit the exam again. I’m an idiot! 🤣🤣🤣 100

Matthew Perren @matnav.co.uk · 06/03/2026Yeah it was about Intercompany setup and operation. Something I’ve done a fair bit of. I refreshed my previous stuff to reflect all the streamling and improvements in BC over recent years. 100
