Figured out how to run the Sclable CLI inside orbs. Ran into another problem, this time due to glibc (github.com/ScalableCapi...), but now I'm all set for agentic investing with Amp!

Hit the first problem: while orbs do support MCP auth, they don't support browser auth. Those MCPs currently only work with a local runner (my Mac).

While Opus 5 rejects any work involving a DuckDB sig bypass I found in February, it's happy to support my game hacking efforts, digging into ROMs using Capstone and casually writing MIPS interpreters to compare results. 🤩

From my Codex profile: I obviously still care about code quality

Top Codex annoyance: /compact often discards too much context. Here, two skills found 5 refactor opportunities. Ran /compact before starting refactor 1) because it was approaching 100%. Codex does 1) well. /compact again. Codex no longer knows what tasks 2-5 were.

Took dynamic workflows for a spin. Took me a while to get the prompt right: disable-model-invocation prevents spawned agents from calling skills as a slash command (which is confusing/wrong). Happy with the result once everything is working, though workflows are a real token burner!

Does the @coderabbitai.bsky.social CLI actually find anything useful on the free plan? Always reports "No findings" for me.

I fixed mathias.blog/tools/whatzi..., and now the new Zig version shows up in all its glory. ⚡️ corsproxy.io has started to block free usage from production origins. As a workaround, I switched to codetabs.com (cool 90s-style website, btw).

So true. Even spending a day to replace something that costs $100 a year doesn't make economic sense. There are other factors, such as learning or simply enjoying building things, but don't fool yourself. x.com/AveryChernin...

Zig has started to reimplement libc (news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4685...), which is exciting. I asked Claude what this means for macOS, where libc linking is a bit trickier.
