You liked every conspiratorial bullshit post mentioned here, so I hope you don't mind as I'm genuinely curious: do you actually believe EuroSky is backed by "big government intelligence agencies" operating from "behind darkened screens"?
But what interests me most of all is W's users: the replies to W's statement were dominated by themes like "MAGA and Russians bots", "big government intelligence agencies", "bigger interests behind darkened screens", although a fewmontage of the conspiracy theory meme and various posts from wsocial and its user, some redacted, with red arrows linking them. It's a bit silly.

I started vibe coding my content pipeline onto the Atmosphere in August, and the only reason I haven't finished is because I quickly realized that if I give it a few more weeks all the pieces I need will be built by other people who, unlike me, probably know what they're doing. 😄 Case in point...

Great thread. For me the saddest part of this story are their fanboys: people who seem to seriously believe in them, and also in the idea of an anti-W conspiracy, despite the evergrowing mountains of evidence. The cognitive dissonance is impressive.

What an inflammatory accusation. It's not doxing when you share information freely published *by the person concerned*. re: fake outrage, a few hours earlier I literally posted that "WSocial's Constitution looks like a welcome step in the right direction" (mathewlowry.leaflet.pub/3mxgh342lsc2....
WSocial's red flag collection
This is all in sharp contrast to WSocial, which admitted as they recently published their Constitution that their (leaky) servers do actually store their users' ID documents, directly contradicting their PR manager, who assured me at their launch party in Brussels that each WSocial users' identity scans "never leave their device".

WSocial's Constitution looks like a welcome step in the right direction, as is their recent introduction of a migration service away from WSocial, finally making credible exit a reality for their users. But they're still storing your verification scans, so I hope they keep working at removing the red flags they've been picking up since launch.

So, we have that you differ in opinions, and you'd prefer not to work with him. That's fair, you don't have to work with everyone. But if I understand you right, you'd happily build something with someone who disagrees with you, say, a patriot of another country who'd put their own nation above all, Switzerland included. So what is it about "Hitler did nothing wrong" specifically that puts it on the other side of a line that one doesn't cross?

This doesn't just apply to usage of AI, but also X, Meta, Substack, etc. We have over 40 million Atmospherians who moved away from those properties in disgust. But we won't get the next 400 million by shouting at or shaming them (I occasionally have difficulty restraining myself here, tbh).

Create value worth paying for

At the risk of stating the blindingly obvious: we won't meet the adoption challenge without something it makes sense for people and organisations to adopt.
The past few months have demonstrated that only a small percentage of X users will move to Bluesky in disgust at the prospect of
continuing to reinforce the influence of the world's richest Nazi. If this didn't get them to make the move, what on earth will?

In a better world, perhaps, people and organisations (companies, governments, civil society, etc.) would adopt Bluesky simply

Seen from a platform perspective your fear is understandable. But this is a protocol, where: - anyone can create any labeller - the only people who see a label are those who chose to subscribe to it. I subscribed to the labellers who put these labels on my profile, and I can appeal them:

Talking of crazy... how about launching
a product which is almost identical to an incumbent competitor which:
⚫ is massively entrenched, benefiting from insuperable social lock-in
⚫ is superfinanced, owned by the world's richest man
• has big (albeit orange and fickle) friends at the very summit of political power
⚫ is advertising-financed, a proven business model which you deny yourself?
I'm not criticising Bluesky Social's decision- making: it's precisely because they launched a product similar to X that we have 43+m people with ATmosphere accounts, all able to kick the tyres of every other ATmosphere app under development (if they knew what an ATmosphere account actually is).

The first creative work being passed to the robots are, unsurprisingly, the entry- level work given to young graduates as they enter their industry. As Rushkoff points out, however, those jobs are where today's experts started: "when we relegate all this engineering, reading, and writing to machines instead of human apprentices, how does the next generation arrive at a level of mastery?"

'how does the next
generation arrive at a
level of mastery? Human
expertise is being
hollowed out'

Human expertise is therefore being hollowed out, leaving tomorrow's humanity reliant on AI tools that mine the wisdom of previous ages where humans
actually nurtured their creativity and
