Before we had bubblewrap, there were crackleberries. More generally called Snowberry, Symphoricarpus albus has fruits that burst with a satisfying POP! when foot-tapped on a hard surface. I popped a jillion of'm when I was a little 😃

I spent most of the day in the "office" making swatchcards from scans of vintage fabric. Documentation might or might not help sell my patchwork items, but it makesme feel sort of competent. The idea is to paste groups pf relevant cards into L.O. Writer or something to print for each major piece.

This last page of the antique German ABC book mystifies me. A hundred zeroes, wtf! The rows of numbers below it are certainly a guide to learning numbers by tens, but I think I need a teacher from the 1880s to splain it all. Anybody got an idea?

My "nice" (non-invasive) daylilies are doing well. The eyed one is my favorite, and it's less crowded this year. Looks like it multiplied a bit too. 😁
