Paul Simon released his seventh solo album “Graceland” on this day in 1986. It sold over 16 million copies worldwide, making it Simon’s most successful solo album. Thoughts? Favourite tracks? #PaulSimon

Absolutely they taste better and last longer . I’d rather support the farmer than the CEO of a supermarket 😉

Trees take decades to mature. Once a forest is cleared, that ecosystem doesn't just bounce back—it's gone in the way it existed. The soil structure changes, the wildlife moves on or disappears, and the carbon storage capacity takes generations to rebuild.

Great footage Scotty . I’m so jealous. Actually bought my ticket for Brisbane and had to fly out to Sydney that morning. Devastated. Sydney sold out . Looks and sounds fantastic. I was so looking forward to seeing them again. 💖

A lovely dawn over Sydney Harbour. Goat Island on the left is called Me-mel by Indigenous people, on the right the heritage listed Balmain Waterview Wharf Workshops, and the coathanger in the middle.

Protecting existing forests and restoring damaged habitats gives nature room to keep doing work that no machine can fully replace. Sometimes caring for the planet begins with something remarkably simple: appreciating the trees already growing around us and giving them the chance to remain there.
