I can't put my finger on why this advertising for Cambridge feels so weird, but it absolutely does. There are many reasons to highlight Cambridge, and proximity to Boston feels like it's WAY down on the list. And I also get it, but cambridgeusa dot org just makes me laugh.

This is just amazing. When I was a teenager, I had the chance to do a small chunk of the AT, and for many years I thought it would be fascinating to do the whole thing. I'm well beyond that now, but I'm still amazed by the scope of this trail. And the IAT? Well, that's just mind blowing.

Curious to hear from savvier folks than I - I'm writing my Postcards to Swing States, and this is the message they say is "most effective": "Thanks for being a voter. Who you vote for is private, but whether you vote is public record. Please vote etc" I find this wildly off-putting. Thoughts?

One of the tangible things I am proudest of is helping get a public toilet in Harvard Square. It took years, MANY meetings, and significant advocacy, but it's still there. Access to basic sanitation is an indicator of a healthy society & a clear marker for how we treat people. Everybody poops.

Huge believer in the power of therapy. Also had a sign up in my last office that said "therapy can't cure poverty". 2 things can be true & often are - therapy is lifesaving & vital for many people, & also utterly out of reach & built on the backs of people being exploited. Ask any social worker.

I early voted today! I love that I can do early voting for a primary... Voting is still critical no matter what you hear, and primaries are where you can make a tangible difference. Get out there and cast those ballots!! Downside; I didn't get a sticker, so enjoy some flowers instead.

Folks, the race in DC this weekend is NOT a Formula 1 race. It is an Indycar race. They are not the same. Formula 1 and Indy are not the same thing. The FIA, for all its MANY faults (and they are MYRIAD) is not responsible for this race. Ted Talk, etc.
