Yesterday our team secured a conviction for First Degree Premeditated Murder. This man will be sentenced to life in prison without parole. Kayli Arseth repeatedly said no to a romantic relationship and this man refused to accept her answer. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones.

Yesterday, the HCAO filed charges in the shooting near the Eden Prairie football game. Our IID Division partnered with the Eden Prairie Police and other law enforcement agencies to identify this person. Targeting the individual drivers of gun violence is the key to accountability and prevention.

We created an Investigation and Intelligence Division (IID) at the HCAO. We work with the BCA, the HCSO, and police departments to share information and data to help solve crimes involving gun violence and to intervene before gun violence happens. This is one of many ways we approach gun violence.

Fabulous voice, funny, and engaging. We saw her in Hell’s Kitchen and now we know there’s much more than Broadway in her repertoire

Deputy HCA Sarah Davis does a terrific job of explaining the law that doesn’t allow prosecutors to criminally charge elementary age children. Before, an 11 yr old who committed a violent crime would have been incompetent and unable to be held at JDC. Now children are getting resources.
