Fed up with seeing an entire audience at a gig watching through the screen on their smart phones - history has the answer… Akai and Teac - two audio equipment manufacturers used to hold concerts for audio enthusiasts to bring their equipment and record the shows. Maybe try ‘smartphone’ gigs now?

Tonight, my future husband, and partner of 24 years, did deliberately and maliciously cook himself a full English, whilst I was in the midst of an IBS crisis. I have no words for the vicious nature of this attack from someone who I love so dearly.

Exhibit A. A plate containing fried eggs, tomato, caramelised onion and pork sausages, mushrooms, bacon, hash browns and bread, with a side of baked beans and chopped tomatoes.

Not had one of these bad boys in years. Throwback to me being 7 years old in ‘78 - in a time before huge super markets were everywhere and chest freezers were for the rich. ( we had an icebox that you could barely fit a bag of peas in) You wanted a pie? This is what you got ☺️

The Pirelli Cable factory in Southampton. Built in 1914 on reclaimed land, it lasted barely 14 years before another factory had to be built elsewhere in Eastleigh - due to subsidence. It took another 62 years to demolish it! Bet the home owners that had a view of the sea were pretty pissed off!

In 1983, aged 12, I helped Dad put up our Garden Shed. To be honest, it was more of a Radio Shack where Dad could spend the evenings chatting away on his Ham Radio. Today, me & Jai replaced one of the sides of the Shed - as it was totally rotten. Should be good for another few years yet.

My life so far: Age 6: music was on vinyl and TV was black & white and only on 3 channels. 12: music was on CD’s and TV was colour and on 4 channels and you could record it. 19: music was on MP3s and TV was on satellite and you could own and play video games at home. 36: all on my iPhone

I’ve been having problems with my hands recently, so I’m having some x rays done to see if it’s bone growth or inflammation that’s causing the issue. My middle fingers on both hands suddenly seize up - a condition called ‘trigger finger’ I can’t think why that would be 🤭

#SouthernWater ‘rewarding’ their CEO with a £1.4 million bung instead of spending it on their crumbling infrastructure. Thanks to lack of investment, it’s easy to spot all the leaky Hydrants - making it quicker for the fire service to put out the fires…if the Hydrants still ACTUALLY work that is.

Since October, my twenty year old shower has been dripping - sometimes from the overhead, hand held or controls 😱 To replace the parts would cost around £120!! After a lot of swearing and gentle persuasion with a hammer, it’s all back together and working better than I ever remember 😂

The diverter valve, mixer and bath fill exposed…and all leaking 💦

Shout out to Aldi for their Seal Assortment kit - saved me a fortune!!
