THROUGH THE SHORTBREAD TIN 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 A new play written & performed in Scots, with Gaelic songs by @martocon.bsky.social & dir by Lu Kemp. Mairi Morrison, Josie Duncan & Claire Frances MacNeil join Martin on stage as a Gaelic chorus
A composite image of five people: a man with light stubble in a black jacket, a woman with red glasses and a patterned sweater, a blonde woman in a pink top, a black-and-white portrait of a woman with straight blonde hair, and a curly-haired woman in a black top against a stone wall.

Hello Joseph. Thanks for your message and your interest in this work. We have no plans to come to America at the moment (we are embarking on our first Scottish tour) but there may be ways for you to access the work. We can maybe discuss by direct message or you can email me.

Every year without fail, October is the busiest and most stressful month, and the kids have a week off in the middle that we always forget about. June is full of people needing an answer from you before schools finish. Nightmare both.

Okay this is my first Bluesky hivemind question for theatre folk: What are the good plays set in shops, cafes, hairdressers etc. Preferably Scottish but anything will do - especially working class stories.
