Early start for me tomorrow - gotta turn up at Arrowe Park at 7am, for small op to remove metal plates and pins from my previously broken wrist, as they are now impinging on my tendons. I may post a photo of me in the gown & regulation compression stockings - I mean, it's a strong look isn't it 👀🤣

#FingerpostFriday When I was a child in the 1960s, Din Lligwy on Anglesey was across some open fields from the road. I was surprised, when visiting a couple of weeks ago, that it is now sheltered behind mature woodland, mainly sycamore, I think. So, those mature trees are younger than I am 😱🫣🤣

I'll tell you what makes a nice pudding. Frozen summer fruits, topped with fat free Greek yogurt, with about four or five walnut halves crumbled on top for crunch. Feels luxurious, like having ice cream, but surprisingly low in calories 👍

This afternoon's walk was a short one only, along Noctorum Ridge and down to Bidston Village. Some puddles on the sandstone after the overnight rain, but most of the paths are draining fine, and not yet muddy.

Had a walk on Anglesey today with my sister. City Dulas to Benllech, via Moelfre, which holds so many wonderful childhood memories for me. Lovely to see how brisk the trade was in the #RNLI shop. I think many folk want to show their appreciation for the wonderful & heroic lifeboat volunteers.
