Granted, in both cases, one of the attacks was much bigger and caused more damage, and was historically A Bigger Deal and thus more worthy of deep discussion. But at least Pearl Harbor the movie was openly about Pearl Harbor the attack, and only mentions the Doolittle raid as a consequence.

My Sister saw Armageddon in a theater when it came out. With one of her classmates, who was from France. They were both horrified when nearly the entire theater erupted in cheers when an asteroid wiped out Paris in the movie.

Paris being hit by a large asteroid in the movie "Armageddon". Apologies, but the only pic of this I had handy was from a FARK Photoshop Contest many years ago and someone edited in a tall building that doesn't actually exist in Paris.

The main light in my parents' bedroom has a frequently-broken rocker switch inline on the power cord. It plugs in under the bed, which is enough of a pain to unplug that I just don't. Occasionally, I manage to fix it without getting shocked, but not usually.

You can even ask 2 election judges, 1 from each major party, to assist you in marking your ballot, and even have them explain (in neutral terms) things like referenda and proposed constitutional amendments, but not individual politician's policies and platforms. I've done it as an Election Judge.

Dunno the law in CA, but here in IL, it is technically legal to have a friend or family member help you fill out your ballot. If done in-person at a polling place on election day, we even have a form to fill out where you give permission to someone to help mark your ballot for you.
