Martiniii @martinisaurus.bsky.social · 16/04/2025

i've got not one, but TWO updates to one of my favorite models thus far! A new and improved Basilosaurus cetoides along with a better head and updated dentition! might need to smooth out the neck on the smaller one but im overall SO happy with this model!

As today is world whale day, I've prepared something wonderful for you all! This is Squalodon, namely the species S. whitmorei, the largest member of the genus! It has a comparatively shorter and wider rostrum than S. calvertensis, and a larger body size too! (6-8m(?) max!)

working on an odontocete finally! this thing has absolutely gnarly dentition, but it still needs a couple tweaks here and there

just when you thought xenarthrans couldn't get any weirder, they do just that although,,, it wouldn't be the first time they've done it as Macroeuphractes already committed even harder to flesh eating!

my team surrendered here by the way

As you can see, I have 9 kills and one death. My mid laner has 11 kills and one death. We eviscerated everyone we saw. And yet, my 0/6 top laner and my collective 0/7 bot lane decided that the game was unwinnable even after we took both of their top lane turrets.

working on a new critter! far from my usual department of whales, but still just as interesting! this is truly a monstrous wingspan for a subadult animal, and probably a bit of a stretch too, but i figured i'd model it that way since it is somewhat plausible

i finally got around to finishing another low poly, with some help from a friend! here's Basilosaurus cetoides, one of the largest predators of the Paleogene and one of the first truly gigantic whales in fossil history! it's a little stylized but it is mostly accurate! i checked,,,,,
