Amazing how so many ‘Eurosceptics’ have turned out to be racists. I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise.

I see the Tankie entryists to the Green Party brought their conspiracy theories with them.

Matt Goodwin’s great-great-grandad probably thought Irish Catholic immigrants would outbreed the English. Turns out worldwide that healthcare, education & female emancipation have a far bigger impact on birth rates than religion

The triple lock would have been bearable if the pensioner class hadn’t then turned round and fucked the country’s finances with their ruinous Brexit.

Objectively, Daddies is a bit more vinegary than HP.

The extension of poppyism from cannon fodder of Flanders to bombers dropping high explosives on ”collateral damage” civilians makes my stomach turn.

The small amount of actual Green positions compared to those identical to that of the Corbynite Left shows how many entryists now permeate the Green Party of England & Wales.

The system works - we saw proof when OFCOM banned Russia Today. What doesn't work is the people now heading OFCOM. Or the Minister leading the Department for Culture Media and Sport.

Literally the same people, given that Zack Polanski is the only political leader in history to actively invite entryists into his Party.

Cakeism very much alive and well among British perception of the EU.

Pensioners need to step up and help pay for the ruinous Brexit they overwhelmingly voted for. Why should they get a free ride at the expense of everyone else they made suffer?

Cars with sensible radio stations in the presets (R2, Classic FM etc) give the perception they’ve not been thrashed.

Not so sure. I don’t think voting machines are trustworthy & I think Trump Republicans go on about Biden stealing the election is because their machine-orientated cheating efforts were scuppered by the massive increase in postal votes (due to COVID) that are not corruptable on a large scale.

Americans also like having cats declawed, which is the equivalent of cutting off fingertips at the first knuckle.

To be precise, Britain didn’t invent the roundabout. BUT we made them work efficiently because we introduced the rule where roundabout traffic takes priority and those wanting to join the roundabout must give way. Before that change it was a massive clusterfuck.

And what are the odds the Republicans fix the voting machines in their favour again?

Loving the way that Damon Albarn is deservedly catching strays in the comments for this post.

For a split second, I enjoyed the idea of Danny Tommo being jailed for piracy indefinitely. All before remembering we have a Labour Government that panders to racists and prefers to imprison old ladies for terrorism offences.

Question: - how can reporting of the drop in figures occur when most of the media actively *do not want* to report the drop in figures?

Surely the prince is the leader of the parish council and any challenge would be addressed to the Parish Clerk.

It’s not just the policy gap. There’s too many advisors to Labour that don’t understand how the post-2010 Conservatives have badly broken institutional objectivity with appointing lackeys to places like OFCOM. They need to be following the lead set by Péter Magyar in Hungary and clearing them out.

If Labour can sack civil servants against the rules and pay them off, then why can’t Lisa Nandy sack Robbie Gibb (and other Tory appointees) from the BBC Board?

Sweet and savoury is how we used to eat at the time of the Tudors. That’s why we still see remnants of it today, e.g. roast pork with apple sauce

Interesting to note how the BBC journalist interjects to say “you’re in a minority … consider other people’s views” but when they interview people of the opposite end of the spectrum they never use that approach. It’s always a matter of them nodding along and not correcting blatant racist lies.

This entire episode is a collapse of effective NHS provision, scapegoated onto a lower ranking staff member to protect managers and consultants.

"None of the pensioners I know, all Scottish, voted for Brexit" Which is why I said 'overwhelmingly voted for Brexit'. Your anecdotes don't trump the data, I'm afraid.

Yay! Let's drain the county dry to throw more money at the people who overwhelmingly voted for the economy-ruining Brexit. (at the same time, let's not build any new homes in case it spoils their view).

Wouldn‘t say my local newspaper was ‘robust’ when I was growing up, considering how it soft-pedalled on critical reporting of the local council (who happened to be its biggest jobs advertiser).
