you ever seen a more relatable headline

A article headline that says
“A rabies scare in West Virginia turned out to be just raccoons drunk on crab apples”

And there’s a picture of a raccoon underneath his face loooks cute

Made a medieval manuscripts and book history starter pack (broadly defined). It is definitely not exhaustive so please comment and I'll add you and the accounts that you think are missing! go.bsky.app/AN9pLVo

And if you don’t know, now you know! 🚫GenAI on Bluesky 🦋☁️

Reply from Bluesky’s Team:
“Hi there,
You recently wrote to us with questions regarding AI training on Twitter.
Here are some details we would like to share:
• A number of artists and creators have made their home on Bluesky, and we have heard their concerns with other platforms training on their data
• We do not use any of your content to train generative AI, and have no intention of doing so.
• Bluesky does use AI internally to assist in content moderation, or in the discover algorithm to serve you posts. None of these are GenAI systems trained on users’ content.

When I feel comfy for having conversations with friends, I often get really relaxed and sleepy, sometimes I manage to fall asleep if it's online. Like, it's a pretty good sign for me having that kind of comfy level with someone, but dang, I also want to be 100% present to at least respect them.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

Also please try and unlearn all the bullshit other social medias have taught you. On Bluesky you can talk about your art, use hashtags, talk to users, add links to your posts and say the word "commission" or others without self censoring. None of these arbitrary rules exist here!

Hey Skyfolks! Just a reminder: there is no algorithm on Bsky, so us artists and creators rely heavily on RTs to get our work out there. If you see a post from an artist or creator that you like, please RT generously! It helps us a lot ❤️ Thank you!
