This is why more women don't come forward, and why more rapists aren't jailed. Because mostly-male cops and prosecutors find it more believable that a 20-yr-old would want to have sex with a room full of fraternity brothers than accept she was raped. What ever happened to common fucking sense?

Unrelated to anything, my 2nd grader got to start her classroom job today and was so excited! She’s so excited about all the classroom jobs - paper passer outer, class librarian, chair czar (I may have made that up - don’t remember the name). They switch weekly. Her excitement is so pure.

I think it’s important to say simply: Mark Zuckerberg is a bad person and a bad CEO. He should have handed Meta over to someone with experience decades ago. He is unethical, a bad leader and doesn’t seem to care about data privacy, democracy or the good of society.

I took the time today to discuss Dolly Parton’s death with my 4 & 7 year olds. When the older was a baby she got books from the Imagination Library. She would point at Dolly’s picture & say her name. Even named a baby doll after her. There is no greater gift than a love of books. Thank you Dolly!

Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines. When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.
