So I watched last years Simpsons Halloween special and...oof...I remember why I havent been watching newer episodes,j okes don't quite hit the mark anymore, the writing is mediocre and the voices are hard to listen to now with the actors getting older.. The show really shouldve stopped at the movie

Marmike91 @marmike91.bsky.social · 21h

Alrighty, I think its also tradition at this time of year to take a look at The Simpsons and thier Treehouse of Horrors. I have watched..pretty much all of them...except for last years episode..so Im gonna be looking at that tonight!! #thesimpsons #treehouseofhorror #halloween

Also...I guess I have to apologise for adding GRAPHIC MEDIA on my post.. I didnt realise a close up Bruce Campbell was enough to garner a label XD

Its Movie time again, and today we are contiunuing the Spooky season with 'Evil Dead II', which I have heard is debated as to whether it should be called a sequel or a reboot...so lets find out and see for myself on where it fits. #filmsky #halloween #firsttime watching!!

The Evil Dead Mini review. Not bad for a independant film. The practical effects are really impressive..but then again I love good ol' 80s practical effects. The pacing and editing were a lil clunky at points and Bruce Campbell, while still a lil green at points, thrived towards the end 3.5 Jars

Lets kick off Marlicious Month with my first ever viewing of the original Evil Dead!! #filmsky #firstviewing 🎃👻🎃👻

I also completely missed that Peter Jackson actually Cameos TWICE in 'Two Towers'. Im aware of his cameo in the Bree scene in 'Fellowship' but I totally missed these two in the 2nd film and now I wanma go and see IF he cameos in 'Return' 🤣 #lotr #flimsky

Marmike91 @marmike91.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Finally finished the Two Towers Like with 'Fellowship', I forgot about a lot of these and while I dont think it was AS good, I still like it a lot for its character arcs, its performances and its effects. Plus it gave us two highly memetic scenes! 🤣 4.5/5

Marmike91 @marmike91.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
