I've worked at the 'big' studios. While I'm on the writing and showrunning side, none of my projects have used AI in their process. I feel confident about my designers, directors, and story artists doing the same. These folks are convincing themselves 'everyone is doing it'.

Tech companies: Add AI nonsense to everything even though it makes their product actively worse at its job. AI boosters: "Uh, if you don't like AI, you better stop using all the those tech platforms." I'd love to stop using them but they don't make stuff that doesn't suck anymore

I wrote a comic! I've got a ten page story in the upcoming Holliday special, DC's I Saw Ma Hunkel Kissing Santa Claus! It's out on November 26th! I've been lucky enough to write DC super heroes in animation but it feels great to finally write the "real" version of one of them!

I met Ray Harryhausen at a film festival where I had just won a teen filmmaker award. He shook my hand, congratulated me, and was happy to hear I also made stop motion shorts (I had won for something else). Just a really nice guy!

Thinking of times I've misspoke, for some reason, and remembering when I was in a day long writers room to talk about "The Flintstones" and someone else said "The Simpsons" by mistake. I had played the arcade game, I had read some of my dad's old issues but the first X-Men comic I picked up off a store shelf and read was X-Men #25. Every page of it is burned into my brain and it was pretty cool to see so much of it in animation today. X-Men '97 is great!

I read the first issue of "Minor Threats: The Fastest Way Down" and you gotta get this comic on Wednesday! It continues the story from Vol.1 and follows a supervillain trying to go from petty crime, to organized crime, to legitimate businesswoman. Plus she kills someone with a Rubik's Cube!
