I appreciate commercials that have a genAI disclaimer, but also dang your company couldn't afford actors?

I'm moving onto post production and lemme tell you editing something you made yourself is nice but also really tough if you have a bit of a self-doubt problem because you *have* to look carefully at the thing you just made even if you're too scared to. 😭

I needed one W tonight and that was finally FINALLY deciding how i was gonna animate the combine power effect. I just needed to mess around in CSP but I think this will be the style I'm going for (plus I always imagined the red part expanding like that and I'm so glad it's now real)

yeah maybe vfx person should be on the crowdfunding budget for next episode because i'm pretty sure it's only difficult because it's just me🥲

I had a conversation w a Lyft driver a few weeks ago that I still think about. I hope this musician, eager to share her art, finds her way to teaching. While the conversation started rocky, Im glad she got an opportunity to talk about her ambitions. Piano teachers are way more valuable than A.I.

Yeah basically I wanna translate the effects from the webcomic into something that looks nice in animation. This is a mixed 2d and 3d show so I'd like to come up with a nice workflow for procedurally generating these effects in Blender for the 3d scenes

I MADE JUMPHERO AGAIN ❤️💜💫 @marlenesantos.com · 30/09/2026

Anyway the show must go on and pilots are meant to be messy so you guys might just get solid lines for all those 4 minutes in November

000

I MADE JUMPHERO AGAIN ❤️💜💫 @marlenesantos.com · 30/09/2026

someone plz show me how to do this in a 3d animation. I've been trying add-ons but due to me having an established style I'm not happy with the presets I'm given ;-;

A panel from the webcomic. Another one of these people with stick arms and legs dashes in front of them with a large glittery trail behind him. He looks like he has a cone on the back of his head.
He coolly pauses in front of the two others with his hands behind his head and asks a person dressed like a doctor, “And how exactly does this connect to your ‘big project’, Doc?

Yeah....i think im gonna need to get like a VFX artist's opinion on my effects at this point because i literally cannot come up with anything better than this rn and i'm not content with it lol

It's literally just a solid color to be the trail whenever someone uses their powers.

The JumpHero animated series has an updated logo, in part because I wanted to do something ✨new✨ but also because the license for the last font only let me use it in comics or I'd have to pay for it

Fuck ChatGPT flyers. The future is broadsheets.

A crowded broadsheet with way too many fonts. It says:
Forget ChatGPT Flyers
Say it with
Broadsheets
Unlimited fonts
Stretch them
Or cram a really long sentence into one line for no good reason
No whitespace
Mix capital and lowercase
Pointing hands
(They're called manicules!)
Don't be left behind
Broadsheets are the future

listen: there's a level on which I don't like "hallucinate" for ai because it's inaccurate. there's another where it's offensive that we are shrugging off so "hallucinations" when we absolutely don't human ones. and another where calling it hallucinations is making it harder to look up human ones

Nice!! Anything in particular you'd like to know? As for my general advice, you wanna take into consideration your general comfort level with HTML. If youre totally new, I'd consider something more plug+play like WordPress+Extensions or ComicFury, which you can still freely customize later

Pompeii is a UNESCO world heritage site not because it was remarkable in its prime, but because it survived to our era untouched: one moment, preserved for all time. But future generations won't know what OUR world was like unless we do the same. This is why we MUST bury Toronto with a volcano
