have a writing critique partner who sends me emails titled "Brace Yourself." She's almost 80 years old, a great-grandma and former magazine writer, and she has no time for BS. 💜 #amwriting #indieauthor

"The Ballad Of House Draconis" eBook is free this week on Amazon! If you grew up reading epic sagas full of noble quests, royal family intrigue, destiny, and classic battles of good vs. evil, this will feel like a nostalgic return to that style of fantasy. www.amazon.com/Ballad-House...

Quickly, before the bots come back online. Come this way.... I wrote a cozy fantasy mystery. Sometimes I post art, too. Human-made (with help from my rabbits), for humans. #indieauthor #conzyfantasy #fantasymystery

Natalya is the warrior of the Adventure Bunnies group. She's based on a lionhead we had who was super cute and (for some reason) very muscular, and inspired by paintings of #rabbits in #medieval manuscripts. #illustration #oc #blueskyart #characterdesign

But does Disney have rune singing and animal familiars based on medieval marginalia? Ours is way weirder.

Happy spoopy season! If you enjoy: • Witches, ghosts & magical creatures • Ancient sentient(?) mansion and haunted(?) castle • Traditional mystery solving • Magical bureaucracy (the horrors!) • Not scary, just a dash of existential dread Join my #centaur sleuth! #indieauthor #fantasybooks

It's fine. There's lots of things with similar names in fiction, and it isn't exactly the same.

Hooper was our first rabbit in real life and is the de facto leader of the Adventure Bunnies. He loves making friends and sees it at his job to keep everybun's spirits up.

“My Family and the End of Everything” by Joe Graves presents a clever framework for short stories, tackling the Internet of Things, AI, sentient robots, climate change, and time travel–but mainly, human connection. I cackled. One story made me cry. I had many “Huh” moments. #indiebooks #bookreview

Do you ever use #tarot cards for story inspiration? I wrote a character based on the Queen of Coins (or pentacles - I just prefer coins). A woman asks if her husband will remarry. What is she really asking? (Included in my news 💌 going out tomorrow.) #amwriting #flashfiction #indieauthor
