DeepSeek is shady. If you ask it who it is made by right off the bat, it will say it is made by DeepSeek, but if you start a conversation with it and then ask a few questions in, it will tell you it was created by Open AI or Anthropic (Claude) and I've heard others.

Anne Frank, Martin Luther King, and Barbara Walters were all born in the same year (1929). Barbara Walters died in 2022. Crazy to think about how the lives of the other two were cut short.

Life is crazy. I went to Los Angeles to bury my brother-in-law on my birthday during insane wildfires.

Counterpoint... In order to get components smaller and cheaper, we need economies of scale. Consumers today do not need this power on our phones day-to-day, but we are essentially bankrolling the R&D for the future of tiny powerful computers that will be embedded in wearables, IOT, robots, etc.

Please pray for, manifest, hold space, and/or hold my wife's brother Vlad in your thoughts as he is dealing with a dire health situation. 🙏 He has an 11 year old daughter who they already brought in to the hospital to say her goodbyes. Details regarding his health and photos: rebrand.ly/heal-vlad

There's a treasure trove of psydub/psybient tracks that are ripe for this kind of treatment. 🤔

The plugin hybrid is basically an electric car with the option of using gas, but the batteries are much smaller than pure EVs. The hybrid Volt might get 50 miles on a battery while the fully electric Bolt will get around 250. Still, most of the time, you won't drive more than 50 miles in a day.

My mom has a Chevy Volt which is a plug-in gas/electric which is nice. She hasn't put gas in it for months. They replaced it with the Chevy Bolt which is pure electric.

Yeah. I think we all agree here. There is a messaging problem that needs to be addressed.

Some Americans are bigoted, but most are not. Many may feel like the Democratic party has lost its priorities (which is taking care of the basic needs of the middle and working class, first and foremost). The narrative of hate isn't resonating with those who don't feel hateful, but feel unheard.

I just noticed this 🤯 This Shoebaleader One album was released in 2017 and Squid Game was released in 2021. Shoebaleader is Squarepusher's live jazz band.

I often say if there's something you don't like, you can complain and boycott, but creating the change you want to see in the world to outcompete the old paradigms will always win. Once people see a better way is possible, they won't turn back, and the old ways fade into irrelevance.

I see many of my friends thinking of Bluesky as just another social media app, but they don't understand this *very* important differentiator below 👇

There is also growing Jewish hatred in our culture, so stay alert and don't let the Nazi ideals spread! So much dogwhistling and whataboutism 😮

I think it's a few things. 1) ALGORITHMS! Other platforms feed you content that gets you hooked. That tends to be things that make you sad, angry, controversial, etc. Bluesky shows you all content chronologically by default and allows you to choose your OWN algorithm by default with "Feeds"
