For just a moment I really did think that this had something to do with a 6-bit IP subnet.
Screen shot from "ideastream public media" showing a slogan "Listen. Engage. Vote. /26" with the "/26" circled by me in red.

Crowdsourced copyediting. :-)
Article title: "How Australia's data centre lobby is winning its fight to to freely pollute." The "to to" part is circled in red.

Fifteen minutes ago, the 71 bus was four minutes out. It is still four minutes out.

Same energy in "Ohio": We could "run the table" by opposing data centers, but it's "better for the Party" if we don't win big. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Excerpt from Washington Post article:

“There are folks that believe that if the Democratic Party would become a party of no data centers that a Democratic Party could … run the table,” said Chris Gibbs, chair of the Ohio Democratic Party’s rural caucus.

Gibbs said that would be shortsighted, however, and that the better path is to help communities strike better deals with tech companies so they benefit more financially from the centers’ presence.

“Just to be the party of ‘no’ all the time I don’t think is good for the Democratic Party’s future,” Gibbs said.

This! Is a hell of an admission! Dude is saying out loud that Dems in "Ohio" could possibly "run the table" by running against data centers but *that would be bad* because they want to be able to "strike better deals" (WaPo's word choice) instead of being the "party of 'no.'" (his words) 1/
In Ohio, 71 percent of voters said in a recent poll that they support a temporary ban on data centers.

Also extremely weird that MSN used to have a story on this but canceled it.

Counterpoint: No we do not need answers about strategy. We need the war to end now, because wars of aggression are wrong. You can't justify a war crime by citing "strategy" no matter how brilliant or clever it may sound.
Post from Tom Nichols: "A good example of why we need answers about strategy: We're destroying refineries and oil production. If the goal is to immiserate the Iranians..." and there's more but my point is made.

I'm gonna suggest tightening up the grading criteria. Yes, I can assess whether the student read the article! Yes it is a sort of reflection on the rightness of bullying. Seriously the rubric is a mess.
The grading rubric, which is three parts: CLEAR TIE TO ARTICLE (10pts) Is there a clear link back to the assigned article? Can the reader assess whether the student has read the assigned article? REACTION CONTENT (10pts) Does the paper provide a reaction/reflection/discussion of some aspect of the article, rather than a summary? CLARITY OF WRITING (5pts) Are the main ideas and thoughts organized into a coherent discussion? Is the writing clear enough to follow without multiple re-readings?

Confirmed. There's nothing more reactionary than blue-city local government.
The City Record of Nov 12 2007 highlighting: "Public Utilities Committee: Zone, Chair."
