I have booked a holiday!! 3 days in Devon, yes please! Just me, my man and the dog, oh and my kindle. Yippee! 38 sleeps to go, and thenoff to a country cottage and peace, just us, and tea shops. And some beach walks too.

Visited Dunelm and Dreams this afternoon. Feels like my life has ended. Acquired paint for my bedroom, (Lilypad, if your wondering..) and still on the hunt for a new bed. I hate this kind of shopping. Exhausted and drained and two heavy tubs of paint to show for it.

The pup and I went to vote and did our duty. There was a reform teller outside, surprised how triggering it was and how cross I felt at seeing the rise of fascism here. How can so many turkeys vote for Christmas? Can't help wonder if this will be a sad day. We will see.
