The only positive material impact genAI has had IMO is it's killed Stack Overflow - and deploying it to ONLY cover that angle was doable within pre-psychosis data infrastructure. But now it feels like opening the Necronomicon, and every once in a while you watch someone get swallowed up by it.

Customization is entirely limitless, the bond system encourages cycling teammates so you don't feel handicapped when someone needs a medbay visit, resources are abundant enough to play with without being gamebreaking, I feel like Im making steady progress, just wow. What an amazing game.

It feels like a fully realized XCOM, it only got a little tight in terms of resources at the beginning, which is usually my biggest bottleneck, but the systems feel so fleshed out, everyone has more HP so they dont drop at a stiff breeze, Hit rates have been beefed, and there's no panic mechanic.
