Avatar Aang, what a fantastic piece of animation and skill. It takes the 2D+3D approach from Tarzan and perfects it. The combination is seemless. And of course its greta to have team Avatar back together. Shame it wasn't released in cinema.

About a month left to the convention, a few appointments with clients, meeting artists, a signing session and after hour party. Sounds good. Now I will try to make some targeted portfolio pieces in time. Realistic vehicles is first on the list. I made a few for the Godzilla game like these:

The Fisherman, by John Langan. I enjoyed the audio book reading on Audible a lot. This is lovecraftian horror at its finest. It focusses around 2 men that bond over fishing after tragic losses and the question, what you are willing to give or ignore to make the pain go away.

To my great and pleasant surprise, the new He-Man movie was quite enjoyable. It was comedic, very self-aware of it's silliness and even Leto made for a fun mustache-twirling Skeletor. If you know the old cartoon and toys, then this movie is for you. Luckily the movie only spends 15 minutes on earth.

Ashoka S2 is coming too. And I wonder if they improved on anything. In S1 the writing was meh, the characters meh, the fighting meh... I didn't like the show at all. The big question is, can they make Thrawn scary and smart or not?

Darn it Blizzard, I played WoW back in the day and now you are trying to pull me back in with what's basically Turtle WoW? And the thing is, it would work, if it wasnt for the 15$/M. It gives me the feeling that I HAVE to play, instead of playing when I want. But man, do I want to play again. ^^°

Every now and then I enjoy sculpting. Minis usually, but I also like looking at these. There are a lot on pinterest & Etsy for sale: Leafs, owls, shrooms etc. (Although thanks to AI I can't say if they are all real nor not) What would you use to make these (for sale)? Wood, clay, 3d print?

Love, Death & Robots is a great series. And "400 boys" just looks spectacular as many of these shorts do. The meaning is up to you though. I kind of like the idea that the giant babies are billionaires, way bigger than normal humans, destroyed the planet and somebody has to fight them.

Maul - Shadow lord. It looks good, so thats a start. Animated Star Wars makes it easier to get away with some flaws. It makes me wonder if Ashoka would have at least felt better if it had been animated. It wouldn't have saved the horrible writing though ^^.

If it was cast down by magic, then perhaps test a version where the snake's body is on the ground, looking up to her. This should move the snakes head away from the center. Something like this? Feels more like an interaction to me.

Root - is one of those board games, where you have to spend time watching rules videos and guides ahead of time to prepare for the game itself. ^^ I love the illustrations (KyleFerrin @d20plusmodifier.bsky.social ) and I am looking forward to my first game.
