Good [INSERT TIME OF DAY] my fellow art-y people ✏️ Inktober Day 1 -Apple- It's that time of year again! This has been fun. Thankfully I went out and bought A TON of new black markers recently. Let's see how long we can keep this going this time around 🙏 #MarKUNST #ArtSky #Inktober #Inktober2026

A black and white illustration of a flexed biceps balancing an apple on it's peak.
Done with black markers and a whole lot of cross-hatching to do the shading

Thank you good Sir 🙏 Drawing every day has really become a challenge so a 'draw every day' challenge might be the best or worst idea to have right now

Good [INSERT TIME OF DAY] my fellow art-y people ✏️ -THUMPIE & SCOVIE- Haven't done a #fanart commission in a while. Pretty pleased with how my work for my favorite Floridaman @ihatehandls.bsky.social turned out tho. 🥰 Tried some new techniques for this one. #art #artist #artsky #pokemon #MarKUNST

Good [INSERT TIME OF DAY] my fellow art-y people ✏️ #sketchoftheday time I guess we are in the 'dramatic shading era' as I to try justify the excessice cross-hatching to myself lol Oops I don't hate it #art #artsky #artist #gayart #illustration #traditionaldrawing #blackandwhite #lineart #inking

German gay dude holding up sketchbook of hot dad next door he drew

A black and white marker illustration of a middle-aged man. He's quite friendly at the viewer through his glasses.
His hand props up his face, smooshing his cheek and stubble, giving him a laid-back look.
The checkered dress shirt he's wearing is unbuttoned quite a bit, showing of his hairy chest.

The black and white contrast of this artwork is quite intense because of the excessive cross-hatching used for shading, giving it all a very dramatic lighting.

Because what goes around comes around, if you see this, share a circle, a disk, something round. Made for the Lies of P #FanArt contest back in 2023 for the game's launch. I never got to completing it because my idea ultimately fell flat but maybe it's time to revisit 🤔 #art #LiesOfP #MarKUNST

An illustration of the main character of the video game 'Lies of P'

It isa dark-haired boy in a flowy white blouse and dark pants, posed in reference to Da Vinci's 'vitruvian man'. One of his arms is the Legion Arm from the game,a metal arm with a harpoon attached to it used for battle.

THANK YOU! 😭 That's so sweet of you to say I don't often use color like this in my sketchbook but this time I had a vision in mind and I wanted to do it justice. At one point I for sure thought I ruined it but I kept on experimenting and I think I saved it and it turned out quite alright 🤗

I mean,I can probably still finish the character itself but just not the 'cool finishing touches' I have in mind...oh well Also,is this giving model/fashion photography pose? I wanted it to be somewhat dramatic like that but I am not sure if I should have exaggerated it further 🤔 I do like it tho

161

MarKUNST @markunst.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Don't you just hate when you wanna do fanart of a specific thing of a video game but there are absolutely noch images for reference of it anywhere on the internet and now the only thing to really do about it is either watching a Let's Play or playing the game yourself? Fanart Friday ist postponed 😬
