actually now that I think about it, 2 of 3 Ascians made it a really distinct point to let the WoLs know that they fucked. can you guys not. I believe you okay

Lahabrea, my man, our WoLs do NOT need to know about the insane weird super sex you and your wife had, please stop telling us about it

honestly one of my favorite things about Pandae was all the memes that people made about Lahabrea and Athena. all delightful

My goal when I'm paying for my MCH hubris in these situations is to just survive as long as I can until i'm inevitably run over. I have to be as annoying as possible until my stupid death

Setsu: Used to barely be able to see due to his albinism, so he developed a habit of staring and sometimes from way too close to try and make out details. After his surgery he can see fine out of one eye, but still catches himself staring out of habit sometimes and gets embarrassed about it

Zuya: Full of anxiety, very rarely makes eye contact Alric: The "can I come over and stare at you like this" guy, stares & makes full, unsettling eye contact made infinitely worse by the fact that he looks Like That Reza: Normal man who makes a normal amount of eye contact when speaking to people

My friends: You should just try playing mahjong Also my friends: (post any one of these memes every single time mahjong is mentioned)

Manga panel with a man stating "Mahjong causes great damage to the human spirit without a single benefit."

Anime screenshot of a character stating "to play perfectly and still lose is what Mahjong is all about."

Meme screenshot of Kiryu Kazuma from the Yakuza series, with text overlaid stating "Best Mahjong Strategy Tip: Quit"

I learned some rules of mahjong exactly once when it was required of me for a Yakuza game and I have immediately removed that information from my brain and have never gone back to it. I will continue be stubborn about this for absolutely no good reason

Line @ NEW FISH @marksmans-spite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

"How many rounds of mahjong?" "One." "How many Bozja skirmishes?" "Five. I'm not playing mahjong."

LRP I saw this week's mogtomes and immediately said aloud to friends in VC "I am NOT playing mahjong, I'm going to Bozja!!!"

Meanwhile Alric will insist he doesn't smoke while he actively has a lit cigarette in his mouth. He doesn't usually carry cigarettes on him but he will bum them off Reza if he's particularly stressed

110

Line @ NEW FISH @marksmans-spite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Zuya does not smoke but Reza does, because he has a calm facade he's determined to maintain. He's also one of those annoying guys that likes to roll his own cigarettes (especially after starting to learn Hannish alchemy)

With the hard work of my fellow artists, I'm happy to announce a collaborative open-for-all activity for GWF - Letters From Another Star! Inspired by tanabata and message boards, come grab an expansion-inspired notecard lovingly designed by artists and put them up for the postmoogles to collect!

Promotional text for the "Letters from Another Star" activity for Gateway Fate.

Top text reads, "Visit six different 'locales' for expansion-specific stationery to write a commemorative message from your WoL to an NPC or fellow WoL of your choice! Read others' messages for a glimpse into the diverse world of FFXIV's players!"

Center text lists participating artists and table numbers:
A Realm Reborn - TK (Table 403)
Heavensward - Kezzako (Table 305)
Stormblood - Dune (Table 301)
Shadowbringers - endy (Table 303)
Endwalker - Koba (Table 304)
Dawntrail - C-Dra (Table 200)

Bottom text reads, "Join other Warriors of Light to share memories and thoughts to create an in-character message board in the Exhibition Hall! (A commemorative photo will be taken at the end of the event and posted to social media.)"

yeah i remember it confused me bc I definitely saw people walking around with ants and eventually when I looked it up I saw it was only the CC boss so alas

010

Line @ NEW FISH @marksmans-spite.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

most of those are easier to grab from the field and you probably already have them but if you don't it's a good opportunity esp if you're still leveling and doing it synced. otherwise yeah, the trial is probably faster if you have a buddy to unsync it with

110

Line @ NEW FISH @marksmans-spite.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I think you can but the Antling beastie can pretty much only come from the first boss of Cutter's Cry, plus you can grab a ton of others in there if you don't have them yet (Bat, Golem, Spriggan, Slime, Vulture, Crab, and Sabotender can all theoretically come from there iirc??)
