The Chancellor (when in opposition) & now Lord Kinnock & a former First Minister of Wales have all backed calls for a wealth tax. I asked the PM if he stands by his promise that those with the broadest shoulders should bear the biggest burden. He dodged my question again.

🚨 When Labour shifts right and Reform spreads fear — the Greens speak truth. Watch me & Ellie on national TV taking the fight to those who make the poor poorer and the rich richer. This is what credible leadership looks like. #TogetherWeWin

We’ve worked hard for many years to have strong, credible leaders like @elliechowns.bsky.social and @adrianramsay.bsky.social in Parliament, asking big questions at the biggest table. Leaders who know exactly what it takes to win MPs and councillors in the toughest seats. #TogetherWeWin

This is why it is important to have Green Party leaders at the biggest table of all: Parliament. Holding the government to account over its shameful position on Gaza, and having the platform to influence national policy.

Brilliant to stand alongside Chris Packham, Sir David King, and over 150 scientists at today’s Science to Politics event, gathering outside Parliament to bring their expertise to govt and demand action on the climate emergency. It’s clear: if we’re to protect our planet, we must listen to science.
Chris Packham, Sir David King, and scientists pose with a banner which reads "Bring science to politics: For Climate, Nature & SurvivalScientists gathered on Parliament Square wearing lab coatsAdrian Ramsay, Ellie, Chris Packham, and Jenny Jones pose for a photo. Since the partial suspension of export licences in September 2024, the UK has exported over 8000 individual munitions, 150,000 bullets and 299 "tanks and other armored fighting vehicles" to Israel. Continuing to arm a genocidal regime is indefensible. The UK must end ALL arms sales to Israel.
REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE.
END ALL ARMS SALES

Here’s what The Guardian is saying. "Ramsay and Ellie are expected to be favourites and have one particularly strong card to play: they can point to the approach already taken by the outgoing leadership, and argue that it worked." www.theguardian.com/politics/202... #TogetherWeWin
