‘Bout time this showed up. I’m gonna have this ready to hand-deliver straight into the ballot box this coming Saturday, when early voting opens in Nevada, and as I’m on my way to my third No Kings Day protest. How appropriate.

The absolute zenith in American technological innovation and scientific wizardry. Still, I am left to wonder………. WHY?!?

Adopted these two a couple of months ago from the Nevada Humane Society. Jinx and SweetPea Life is hilarious again (at least INSIDE the house! These will NOT be outdoor kitties as we want them to have long, safe lives!).

It’s hard to take photos when you’re picking up the remnants of what used to be a planter or a coffee cup or some other item that offends your cat’s aesthetic standards. We too adopted two kittens in August. All we’re missing is the Benny Hill Show theme song. Absolute madness.

@dawnpaints.bsky.social Here’s a couple of things I got from Google re: observing the “observers”….

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

TWO kitten loves. On the left is Miss Jinx and on the right is Miss SweetPea. They are both shoulder perchers and beard nuzzlers. It’s the best!

We just got two kittens, both about 4 months old, and it’s blowing my mind how fast they’re growing.

010

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Let’s see, they’re engaging in wild horse roundups all over the states right now and here we have THIS “fine” product from our good friend Jeff Bezos. Do I think I will be afraid of this product? Yes, I will be VERY afraid.

110

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I WISH it was only $5.08!

011

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Oh, yes they most certainly are!

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Costco consistently has the lowest gas prices in town. This particular Costco has been in existence for some 15 years and has never had prices this high in its history. Regular was around $4.69 just three weeks ago. Just one poisoned Big Mac…PLEASE God🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Oh Blake….BLAKE……Please tell me you didn’t corrupt this woman.

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

If you haven’t tried them yet and you have a membership, try Costco’s hotdogs. Twice as big as any other dogs on the market, absolutely juicy and delicious. It’ll take double the pastry shells to accommodate one of these big boys but you’ll never go back to regular hotdogs again.

These two terrorists came with everything but the old Benny Hill Show theme song, which would be PERFECT for the chaos that ensues EVERY DAY now in our house. I’m loving it!

Photo A: Jinx, doing her best “Jack, I want you to draw me like one of your French girls” pose. Photo B: SweetPea not giving a damn about “art”.

I can’t think of ANY shirt I own that I will be PROUDER to wear!

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Hmm, there seems to be something about that skull……

010

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Oh, this is tooooo sweet.🤣🤣🤣 I finally got to ‘em.

110

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Me too but I’m not down with the haircuts.

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Our two little terrorists just had their nails trimmed for the first time by my wife (the Cat Whisperer) and sailed through w/ flying colors. I had requested this be done as I was lacerated from head to toe and had no more hemoglobin to bleed out.

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

And he probably made the “duck face” all four times😂.

000

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

We just adopted these two little terrorists about a month ago and man, having kittens bond with you is the best. Looks like yours didn’t even wait to get home before he(she?) did that😆. Have fun with your new kitty.

Amidst all the crap going on in the world, including all the local fires we’re watching, I had a wonderful cuddling session this morning with SweetPea, one of our new kittens. Of all the kitties we’ve owned Pea is the most affectionate. She REALLY loves her new Daddy.

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

They finally slowed down long enough that I could get a couple of decent shots. The one on the left is SweetPea and the one on the right is Jinx. Both about 11 wks old and both REALLY feeling their oats!

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

If you are interested in a great live performance of some of these early songs you might like this…. Some great tunes, very good musicianship, good audio mix. There are 3 different shows available, each specific to one of the first 3 studio discs. IMHO, the First Night is the best all round.

010

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Kittens…..whaddya gonna do?

110

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Not sure if even Tull themselves would have called it a “concept album”, but it IS a BRILLIANT offering. Actually, I consider the triumvirate of Thick as a Brick, Aqualung, and A Passion Play to be very hard to beat.

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

THIS is the ONLY condition I wish to see him in now.

000

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

WTAF?!? $12.00 now? It was $5.99 a couple of years ago. Is it made w/ UNICORN JIZZ NOW?!?

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Can’t believe it’s already been a year. We miss you, Oz.

Alrighty then. THAT part’s sorted. 6qt. cast iron, and it’s the purple color that my wife INSISTS is mandatory for all things kitchen. Now to tackle my first ever efforts at bread-making. God help us all.

Can’t wait to dig into THIS book. I’m a HUGE Haberman fan and I KNOW this promises to be good. Got about 3/4 of the book I’m currently reading to get through first, but I know this will be a banger when I get to it.

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

Wanna take a sec to rant and rave about this disc. Tons of early BOC tunes plus some other faves from various years. Exemplary musicianship, especially from guitarist/keyboardist Richie Castellano. Albert Bouchard guests as well. GREAT audio mix, especially in 5.1. Yes,I’m old but this is very good.

000

Mark @markpr73.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

I’m not sure I believe this or not…

Sorry to bust your bubble but reports of tRUMP’s speech NOT being carried by any of the “BIGS” is patently false. Hoping otherwise was always not even a thing. Now it falls on YOU to NOT watch it.
