I consider myself lucky that I work in an organisation where using LLM based AI is verboten (we can run internal ML models though). But I see there are companies out there trying to make AI acceptable in my industry, I think it’s only a matter of time before somebody allows a trail.

It’s state sanctioned murder. A government should never have the power to legally kill its citizens. The argument normally is if a murderer kill your loved one surely you would want to take their lives? Of course you would want vengeance, that’s human. But the government should be above that.

People is not that I am ignorant I don’t feel the need to be updated on politics every minute of everyday, I choose to read about current affairs on my own schedule. We used to wait all day for the evening news or read the newspaper on the bog, now because of social media it’s blow by blow all day.

I actually don’t mind Teams, in the last 2 years it seems to have got better, it used to be absolute dogshit. It’s kind of the same story with Power BI, when that’s was first realised it was terrible. But MS threw money and devs at it and now Power BI is a good tool (still prefer Qlik though).

I don’t know if it’s the same as VT but for audio tape there is a product out there that is non-petroleum based for dry tape, can’t recall its name but it was used by tape ops (when that was a thing) for problematic tape. Even then I think it was used more for duplication rather than maintenance.

I know everyone is talking about Man City but what is getting me now is the scale of organised cheating they did over many years. It’s not a case of just an isolated incident it is systematic, I can only compare it to the level of cheating Lance Armstrong did where it was so organised.

The rules are supposed to level the financial playing field, it’s clear that the board at City have systematically attempted to undermine them. They should be punished harshly otherwise it will prove the rules are a mockery.
