Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 18/11/2025Thanks for the tip. Having only just subscribed to Apple TV, we’re only now catching up with Slow Horses. I know. Behind the times. We’re at the cliffhanger for series one (end of episode 5). Last episode of that series being watched tonight … so no spoilers, please 🤣. 020

Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 30/08/2025Stunning stage adaptation of The Railway Children at @worthvalley.bsky.social as part of the @bradford2025.co.uk year of culture. This is the scene where the rail disaster is averted. Brilliant immersive theatre in the round. A 10/10 performance. Fabulous afternoon. 030

Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 09/08/2025Spent a wonderful evening in the #Perth museum here in Bonnie #Scotland this evening, sampling whiskies from the #Macbeth collection - linked to a fab exhibition about Macbeth (the real person) and that of Shakespearean fame. Stunning - particularly the #Clyneslish, the #BenNevis & the #Laphroaig! 020

Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 08/07/2025I have the 12-45 by default of it being bundled with my OM-5 here in the UK. I thought I’d crave the f2.8 of the 12-40 but no, more than happy with the results. It’s also a more compact lens, though as you know the #M43 is a boon for portability and handheld at all times 😀 010

Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 15/06/2025Ditto. I couldn’t understand why. Trouble with the NYT games app is you have to think in American. Not easy for the Yanks, let alone the limeys 🤣 100
Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 14/06/2025I ran your photo of the original slide through ChatGPT and it thinks that the handwriting says “Auf (On) Mount Baber” (Alabama). If the car is American and so is the registration plate, would this make sense. Googling the mountain range gives an impression that it could be correct? 010

Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 08/06/2025The reason why Kent C, advertised a £350m agency “contract” - not really a contract, a ‘framework’, is it arranges ‘frameworks’ that the wider public sector can access and it has to advertise the maximum potential value over a the maximum duration for the agreement. Not rocket science, procurement! 000

Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 21/05/2025I love the OM5 over the 10. My favourite is the 20mm 1.4 pro, as a prime makes you think about composition. My second favourite lens is the 8-25 4.0 pro, if wandering around a city and popping into museums. Wondering about the OM-3 … when the initial demand has died down, but the OM5 is a delight. 110
Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 17/05/2025Do. They’re of similar architectural heritage, so I guess Huddersfield will be the easiest for you both. If you like Middle Eastern food, combine it with a visit to Med-One, just around the corner in the town centre. One of the best informal Lebanese eateries and reason alone to visit Huddersfield! 110
Mark P @markpearson.bsky.social · 17/05/2025We pass it from time to time but I’ve never thought to look at it from a photography perspective. I find both Huddersfield and Preston bus stations are brutalist, architecture-wise. 110
