I agree. I visited it in 2022 and was surprised by how small it was. However you could feel the history in there and visually imagine the hearings that happened

I remember my day trip with you all the years ago. It was such an interesting trip, will never forget about why the green bushes at the brooding soldier are so symbolic. I highly recommend booking a tour if you ever in Ieper

Just finished reading this excellent book 📖 by @seaspitfires.com I highly recommend this book 📖. I’ve heard @seaspitfires.com on a WHWOMYT podcast and his book 📖 doesn’t disappoint, had me gripped reading it, just a shame work and sleep stopped me reading it from start to finish.

Just finished reading this outstanding 📖 by @nickhewitt4.bsky.social , I sadly know next to nothing about naval warfare in the First and Second World Wars, however this book taught me so much about Operation Neptune/Overlord, I highly recommend this 📖
