5 years ago, when the mRNA Covid vaccines came out, I sensed a new age in medicine. I was so giddy about it that I told my wife, “Honey, in five years they're going to be making the flu vaccine using mRNA!” Today I received an mRNA flu vaccine.

Here's the problem with calling the horror in Gaza “genocide.” It doesn't fit any legal definition of genocide. So, the actual war crimes go unchecked. And Israel still has October 7th to justify it. But if you can't establish Israel's war crimes without the genocide label, then what?
