I’m not going to get into the referee fuck up. We were never in control of that game, which is two matches in a row. Far too many misplaced passes, often caused by players under pressure without enough options. I say this forever, it’s the midfield who need to take control in games.

I said in the other place that TAA contract will be a problem b/c he doesn’t want to be pigeonholed as an RB. He knows defensively he’s weak and prone to errors. He wants to be an mf, but he doesn’t realize he doesn’t have the skill set. Going to Madrid won’t change that.

Today’s real lesson was about Full Backs. I learned that I’ll be fine when Trent signs for Madrid, and it is going to happen. We have Bradley, and Slot will bring out the best in him. Robbo is more or less done. He’s a fraction late and it’s costing us lots of goals. Tsimi isn’t the replacement.

That was a poor Liverpool first half. I don’t United any credit as all they had to do was the basics. Our passing in the final third is poor. Mo and Trent in particular not on it at all, and Trent has been very weak defensively, watching runners time and time again. We are missing Szboslai.

Brilliant first half then not at the races in the second half. Just fell over the finish line. Endo best player, and Jota brought such quality in the second. Tsimi was struggling and Chiesa showed flashes- should have scored. Think the referee got it right on the Quansah decision, 50:50.
