LLMs industrial scale copyright theft is the biggest threat authors have ever faced. Unless it is curbed, I don't see a future writing well-researched history, just to see it fed into a plagiarism mill, combined with garbage and regurgitated as a 'new' work.

'Harwich Submarines' tells the story of how a small force of British submariners shaped and eventually dominated the battle space in the North Sea in 1914. In the words of the enemy commander, they brought 'constant danger ... to this confined area.' #royalnavy #ww1 #navalhistory #submarineservice

My first book, Harwich Submarines in the Great War, features. Their impact in 1914 caused the German fleet commander to write that: 'In favourable weather conditions the German Fleet will be literally blockaded in our estuaries by enemy submarines ...' #royalnavy #ww1 #navalhistory #submarineservice
