Mount Carleton report: welp, I wasn't ready. Turned around after about 2 KM on the trail - knew I wouldn't be able to reach the summit this time. Not upset, really: I did get to hike 4 KM in the woods and other than soreness and fatigue and a twinge in my left knee I'm OK.
