I was on a civil jury trial that was, indirectly, cops vs firefighters. One of the cops was so unreliable on the stand. I imagine that is one reason they settled after plaintiff’s rested. Also it was a generally drunken cluster fuck.

I was thinking it through if we always taste liquid smoke because our tongue and food is wet, but I guess not because liquid smoke is the water soluble parts. Real smoke has other compounds. I wonder if a YouTube review exists comparing different liquid smoke products to actual wood smoke.

How can we make an American Taskmaster work. Does the team ever do puzzle hunts for fun? Or make escape rooms for fun? The dehumanizing of Alex Horne makes him something of a prop for the tasks, did that come about in pre production testing? Have they gotten into “trouble” with local authorities?

I generally tried for a 15 minute mile pace for a half manhattan. It’s been so long, I don’t remember what I’d do for a full manhattan. One time we took a wrong turn that cost us a ton of time. Hard to go fast scrambling rocks.
