In my youth I was part of a Gaming Club called “The Circle of Adventurers” in Hamilton, ON. We met every Sunday evening from like 6pm-12am in the basement of a church (much amusement, that). We’d finish up our D&D gaming late, the. rearrange tables for massive M:tG multiplayer rumbles.

I know people have problems with 5e/5.5e and that’s fine, i’m just happy (and a bit surprised) to see the old Nerdoms of mine (D&D and M:tG) still going fairly strong, if not stronger than ever. A buddy has recently gotten back into Magic so now I am remembering things I had long forgotten.

I have now read the 2014 D&D player’s handbook and DM Guide, the 2024 versions of those + Momster Manual, Adventures in Faerûn, Heroes of Faerûn, and Arcana Unleashed. Very interesting changes to the game since I last played in 2nd edition (duh, that came out in 1989)…
