Japanese scientists have confirmed a monumental discovery: asteroid Ryugu contains all 5 nucleobases essential for DNA and RNA. By analyzing 5.4 grams of material returned by the Hayabusa2 spacecraft, researchers identified adenine, guanine, cytosine, thymine, and uracil in similar proportions.

“… like a US school shooting…” OK, just so you know: the rest of the world does not consider a school shooting to be somehow less horrendous than a terror or organised criminal attack. Actually we view school shootings as more horrific. Americans are a deeply confused people.
