That emergency alert scared the crap outta me while I was sleeping. Amber alert though. Hope they find the missing girl.

Wow. I knew the changes to routes up here in the NE would be inconvenient, @calgarytransit.com, but I had no idea my 1-bus, 20 minute ride would now be a 2-bus, hour long trip now. Not sure who comes up with these route plans, but big thanks to them for that.

I miss all my American friends so very, very much. And my love to all the good ones down there. But as long as the US government keeps attacking and threatening my country, I am not stepping foot in, or spending another cent down there! Screw that shit. Sincerely, a disgusted Canadian. 🇨🇦❤️

I think we need to start charging the US for the poor air quality we're getting up here. Yeah, it still sounds stupid, doesn't it?

Today is Canada Day. It will remain a bittersweet day for me, though, because it's also the 2 year anniversary since mom passed. At least we'll get fireworks to remember her with. Happy Birthday, Canada! 🇨🇦 Miss you, mom.

First day back home after being in Japan. Saw several people running red lights and almost got hit by some asshole in a ford at the second intersection I crossed. Fucking pay attention, people!

One final night in Tokyo. I knew it would go by fast, but it's hard to believe it's actually almost time to go home. It's been truly amazing.

Well, a little bummed I didn't find my boy Stolas or any Helluva stuff here in Akihabara, but this bad boy will do nicely on my shelf at home too. Glad to find some Hellaverse here in Japan, @vivziepop.bsky.social

Just experienced a 5.8 quake here in Tokyo. Building swayed pretty good. But not much else. All is good.

I think the best aspect of being here in Japan is that I don't have to watch or listen to all the bullshit news and crap from back home. It's been so refreshing to be away from it all.

RIP, my friend @dattaxpony.bsky.social You were such a funny, kind, and generous person. We has so many laughs over all those years at cons. I'm so thankful I saw you at BABS last year, but god damn, I didn't know it would be the last time... I'll miss ya, buddy.
