The change my grandma went through in the last 3 weeks is staggering. From fully functional and independent to completely bedbound and unable to speak. She doesn't move, just makes those haunting noises. Sometimes opens her eyes To think I had regular conversations with her just one week ago

Could very much be a thing!!! Pets can be freaks when it comes to how their food is served, sometimes metal bowls are a big no-no, some don't want to see other animals when they eat. Water only drinkable when it's away from food And then there's Jules likes her kibble with a hint of ✨ floor ✨

I read a little more about levamisole and yeah, I won't go near it ;___; It can very much kill you if something goes wrong The surgery is the best choice in very severe or complicated cases, but I'm 99% certain I don't qualify D: Not sure if endoscopic removal is available in Poland, -

I tried all anthelmintics available to me, none of them work. There's still levamisole but I don't want to end up in the ground or a wheelchair. I think I'll have to push for endoscopic removal or surgery ;___; The abdominal pain is becoming unbearable & I'm terrified a perforation might happen

I haven't posted (my own) health update in a while: The latest treatment has failed :( I knew right away because I nearly spat my lungs out as soon as I finished the last course of meds. Same lab test results as always, I only did the test so I could show it to my mom because she didn't believe me

I think it was more gradual with grandpa, he faded a bit more each day. Grandma is stronger in the mornings, weaker in the evenings. She's been like this for years - she's still following her usual patterns As long as we can manage the pain... I think we can handle this, so she can stay at home

Very exhausting day, but not necessarily a bad one. Grandma had another burst of energy that lasted a couple of hours. It was nice to see her smile time after time! She's asleep now. Less screaming and more mumbling this evening. I hope we can get supplemental oxygen for her tomorrow

She couldn't sleep because of the pain, I gave her some hydroxyzinum and it seems to have helped, though I still hear occasional faint screams It's heartbreaking to see her like this. Cancer is a beast. Thankfully I have one day off tomorrow, so I can be with her

Dad LOVED my drawings. I was always shy about them and didn't show him much, but now I wish I had shared more. Maybe I should have showed him my characters too, I think he would have liked them! I still remember the way his face lit up whenever he saw me draw and ooops, I'm crying now
